small en-suitesteep climb
The room felt a bit cramped. the en-suite was also quite small. (i wasn't expecting that). the breakfast was underwhelming. The full english lacked variety and those eggs.. well, let's just say they weren't cooked to perfection. it is a steep climb uphill to get back to the place too

i received a friendly welcome and communication from the owner was great. the room had a lovely garden view. breakfast was excellent.. all you could need.
the drink selection was available using the honesty bar in the lounge. the drinks were left on a table. sadly, they were warm and uninviting.

Alison and alex were lovely hosts. i enjoyed the excellent breakfast with a tasty full english. i also appreciated the pretty garden area. It was so quiet.
the walk up the hill required quite a bit of stamina, really!
